Treatment

Ordinary World: There is a guy named Phil. He just graduated from High School and is working for a construction company at the time. He doesn't know what he is going to do with his life but is happy with the job that he has right now for the moment.

Call to Adventure: There is a war going on and his best friend Jack is interested in joining the military. Jack asks Phil if he would join with him so that they could go together.

Refusal to Call: Phil is happy where he is and doesn't think that joining the military would be the best choice for him. He tells Jack that he wouldn't want to go.

Meeting the Mentor: The mentor would be Jack. He has already known Jack but he helps him realize the good that he could do for himself and his country if he would join the military and help in the war that was going on at the time. He helps explain the rewards that he will receive for making the decision to join.

Crossing the Threshold: Phil decided that Jack is right and he enrolls into the army with his friend. They sign up and they head out to training together.

Tests, Allies, Enemies: The biggest test that Phil faces is that himself and his friend Jack are sent to fight in the war just shortly after arriving to the training camp. Their Enemies would be the people that they are fighting against, the other side of the war. Their Allies would be the people that are fighting along side them, the soldiers from their country.

Approach: While fighting Phil and Jack get separated into different groups. They have to go there different ways and fight the war alone without the company of each other.

Ordeal: Jack and Phil get separated during the war and later Phil gets news that Jacks team was involved in a take over and they think that all the members of Jacks team have died.

Reward: The war ends and the side that Phil has been fighting on has won!

The Road Back: Traveling home from the war. Sitting on the airplane thinking of going home and getting to see his family and friends again.

Resurrection: Phil gets a knock on his door and goes to answer it and Jack is standing there. He told Phil that he and a couple other guys had survived the attack and they lived.

Return: Phil and Jack are buddies again

  1. It seems like a good story. Though it does not seem to have much substance to what is going on in the story.
